The tyranny of government continues to grow just like terminal cancer.
Take the complainer out. What a jerk or jerkette.
Someone in the city gov knows who complained. Now the complainer might be subject to a little blackmail to avoid being exposed. Make that person worry they will be found out and get a little street justice, if possible.
If this story gets the attention it deserves, the Internet of Humans will make sure these kids are well taken care of. If this made it to Tucker Carlson’s show...the kids would probably have college paid for.

The kids can sue to get that information. I have had to do it twice. The system allows you to know who your accuser is. They try to bluff you, but legally they have to supply this information.
The City of Bulverde’s statement also states:
“The selling of chicken eggs or any other animal products produced on the property, from a residentially zoned lot is a violation of city ordinance, regardless of the age of the person conducting the sales.”
Johnson, a retired Army man, says he feels city hall is picking on little girls, but he doesn’t want to break their hearts.
“I’m afraid that the city will take further action against me and I don’t want to hurt my kids,” says Johnson.
So from now on, the girls will just gift their eggs learning a very grown-up lesson about the real world.

The lesson is they should have been selling fentanyl and not eggs. You can bet some busy-body next-door Karen wouldn’t make a damn peep about a fentanyl operation because she knows she’d disappear.

We used to do that at our church in the beforetimes. There’s paperwork involved in holding a “fundraiser” and “selling” something, but giving away cookies and saying, “If you would like to donate to the youth group, there’s a basket on the table,” was okay.
It’s just a zoning ordinance; giving them away and accepting donations seems like a good way in that case.
Public shaming is long overdue on those who reside among us and complain constantly in order to stir up unrest.
Ayn Rand had the nasty habit of telling truth to power.

Great idea. If you say its a donation then people will give you more money. Thats how good people can be.
Let me play Devils advocate here.
The authorities knew of the girls selling the eggs and they had a choice. Either ignore it or respond to it as the law directs.
Now let us suppose the authorities decide, “what the hell, the girls are just trying to help people and learn about capitalism at the same time so let’s leave them be.”
Now let us suppose some of those eggs are diseased and because of that some who bought them sicken and maybe die. Who is responsible? The authorities were aware of the violation (selling produce without the necessary permits.)and yet did nothing.
Seems as if in this instance the tax payers would be on the hook for any damages resulting from the girls selling their eggs.
Probably some crappy transplant that hates people in general and wanted to flex her/his/their self perceived power.
Too bad, Bulverde used to be a normal place, guess its been liberalized like most of central Texas.
