Surprised The Cowboys dodged that bullet they usually get caught with them.

"...the NFL player reportedly choked a victim unconscious on Saturday during a confrontation inside a coffee shop in Chalmette, Louisiana..." Some people just can't handle their caffeine.

I think this article is incorrect. I think they were alcohol related charges not drugs.

How can he be labeled a star when it appears that he has not been able to stay on the field for a complete season no matter where he hangs his jersey.

Had to look him up. Not surprised. Of course, wearing a low IQ expression.

Not even the 49ers could stomach this loser and cut him due to his off-the-field criminality. Surprised he is still around.

As a 49ers fan, Aldon Smith looked like the steal of the 2011 draft during his rookie season. He looked better than JJ Watt or Von Miller, racking up (IIRC) 18 sacks in his first 18 games.
It's amazing how badly he's managed to screw up since then. Multiple DUIs, a hit-and-run, domestic violence charges. And now the latest. He could have been where JJ Watt is in his career right now, finishing out a Hall of Fame career. Instead he's a wreck - thrown away every opportunity and all of his physical gifts to live like a criminal.
