Was Brian "the Eunuch" Stelter wearing a dress?? Performative contraction, indeed! And as far as the NBA, since they're on board with tranny boys playing with the girls they can easily prove their wokeness by merging with the WNBA. Like how they absorbed what was left of the old ABA in 1975 (Nets, Spurs, Pacers and Nuggets). And how Dr. J Julius Erving was traded to the Knicks from the Kentucky Colonels. (Why the Colonels folded is one of mysteries of sports history, they were a good strong team.)

NBA is not on CNN.
So many recycle sites looking for hits from Free Republic.

Unfortunately, it is not about money or ratings anymore.
It is about pushing The Narrative, which CNN faithfully does.

Erving was traded by the Virginia Squires to the Sixers. I don’t remember him playing for the Knicks.

Well basketball aficionados. There’s always midnight basketball. It seems Xi Biden wants to revive it.

1971-1973 Virginia Squires - ABA
1973-1976 New York Nets - ABA
1976-1987 Philadelphia 76ers - NBA
I was at the first game Dr. J played in the NBA, IIRC - it was a road game against the Seattle Supersonics and Slick Watts put a blanket on him, at least for that contest.

I stand corrected. He did play for the Nets for a short time. They offered his contract to the Knicks as part of some deal to reduce the fees the Nets had to pay to become part of the NBA in the same market but the Knicks turned it down and soon after Erving played for the Sixers.

Wrong Dr. J was traded from the Nets who at that time were playing on Long Island to the Philadelphia 76ers.
To: Impala64ssa
The Colonels folded because John Y. Brown — as I recall a Democrat politician — folded the franchise for money and used the cash to become owner of the Buffalo Braves (NBA).
To: Impala64ssa
Dr. J played for the Nets.
The last ABA games were in 1976.

to become owner of the Buffalo Braves (NBA). When we sang the anthem at Braves games, we always ended it with ‘and the home of the Braves’
Bob McAdoo was a joy to watch
