How much ransom are they going to pay for their bots?
This thing will night make it through the night shift without close air support and a nearby sniper team.
Toss a blanket over it and take it home for free food and a 'finders fee'.

Then comes the knock on the door from the cops who have tracked it by its GPS signal.
No soup for you!
Honestly, this drine isn't a terrible idea. It's not just the waiting in line that is the problem - although that wait can be wellover ten minutes in a drive-through - nut rather also the travel time it takes to get to and return from the restaurant from wherever you are in the first place.

They’ll keep the bots restricted to the “nice” neighborhoods, probably serving the Silicon Valley types who would gladly geek over the chance to spend an extra $2 and wait an additional 20 minutes just to have their food delivered by a robot.
Certainly ain’t gonna make it in Compton, though...

Someone must’ve converted to the LRon Hoover Church of Appliantology for Chik-fil-A to make this switch.

CFA can KMA since they went and hired a homosexual who is an advocate for homosexuality and has turned CFA into a homosexual organisation.

DoorDash, Waitr, GrubHub, UberEats, etc. all charge you to not go to the restaurant. That’s the point. What is so special about Chick-Fil-A?

If it were not for the source... I would be convinced that this is a joke. We had loads of those government subsidized rental scooters and electric bicycles around here to “reduce our carbon footprint”. They basically lost so many of them and were sued by so many people who fell off of them that even with the government subsidies they could not stay in business.

Since their collapse on conservative principles I have not followed their business, or bought their products.
I don’t anticipate being one of their customers again.
Their fall was so sudden even I was shocked. But I guess they are making even more money now. The wages of sin are going up.

Robots can be very cost effective. They cost around $30k, cheaper than the salary and benefits for one employee and they could replace 2 or 3. Even factoring in depreciation, maintenance upgrades, etc they're much cheaper, and more reliable.
Robots don't call in sick, they don't demand to be allowed to wear things like fag flag buttons or BLM paraphernalia. They don't unionize, unless some "Norma Jean" type figures a way to pull that off. And they don't file discrimination suits against their employers, unless"Robotic American" becomes a new protected class

I like Chick-fil-A and am surprised when people think it is garbage. That said, the robots would provide far better service than my local McDonald’s.
