Suspected poacher trampled to death by elephants in South Africa

A suspected rhino poacher was killed in an elephant stampede at a South African national park on Saturday, officials said.

The man was among three suspected poachers spotted by rangers at Kruger National Park, the parks service said in a Sunday press release.

The trio fled when they were seen, and during their escape, ran into a breeding herd of elephants, authorities said.

Some of my acquaintances were hunting in SA a few years ago at a big operation. The owner was a legal caretaker for rhinos in the are. One night the guides all took off in vehicles at a high rate of speed. They return a few hours later with the bodies of two poachers shot dead. Bush justice is swift and brutal.
