Wonder what was rocking on the 8-track.
Hopefully it will run long enough to make the trip without a tow.
I prefer Land Rover series color light green or olive drab.....the latter a military color slightly darker
The new land rovers use Belize Green although Bronze Green has been around a long time
Land Rover truly utilizes military hues

I met a guy that enjoyed his Land Rovers and had photos of a return flight from London sitting next to an L-R transfer case on the plane!
He needed one and found a deal, purchased a seat for it on the way home.
Claimed the cost was far ahead of local purchase.

The L-R is fitting and proper.
Long ago my daughter’s foreign exchange parents decided to visit us and to spend several months touring North America. They wanted to travel by motor home but when they found out what poor gas mileage American Tv’s got they decided it was cheaper to ship their own RV across the Atlantic and use it.
The horror! Electric vehicles by Lucas!
Geez, all I could afford would be an old station wagon.

I once drove a Land Rover 110 from Panama to Belize city enjoying a fairly hot El Salvador and a lit Nicaragua along the way
The Sandies were like there are counter revolutionaries down that highway
We’re like yeah the good guys though we didn’t voice that
We paid a lot highway informal tolls to whoever held the road

I contracted to the Kenyans during a dustup with the Somalis. This one Somali POS had an SA 340 heli and I permanently borrowed it since he didn’t need it anymore. Beat the hell out of driving!
In a landfill in Chicago.

I have told my wife to have the kids drag me out back to the thick bushes in the utility easement, tie a pork chop securely to my ankle.
The coyotes will drag me away.
A low-budget sky burial.
