Cornstarch....I use it on many occasions mostly add to stews to thicken gravy.
But found it to be great for potato wedges.

Dip wedges in oil or butter and spices including the corn starch?

I use it on many occasions mostly add to stews to thicken gravy. Nothing wrong with cornstarch, it works. But arrowroot thickens just as good and doesn't make the sauce as cloudy.
