Itβs hard to see how Peaky Blinders can carry on without her
She’s been married to actor Damien Lewis (Band of Brothers) since 2007.
She had a very full career for only being 52. Some people are that way. They develop quickly, and with great radiance. They reach what appears to be full bloom rather early in life. Like Sunflowers.
I started to get into Peaky Blinders...bought the first 3 seasons...but other things distracted me. Like many British dramas what little I saw looked very, very good indeed.
WOW a great show that Peaky Blinders.

I enjoyed ‘peaky blinders’
All write ups I’ve found simply mention ‘secret cancer’ battle.
RIP.
(She does look a bit frail/weak, in one of her last appearances. π’)
She was great in Penny Dreadful.
Wonder why she didn’t go to the US for her cancer care...
I’m surprised at the age. God rest her soul, she wasn’t a youthful 52. Her character chain-smoked cigarillos. Not sure if that was a real-life habit.
She is listed on IMDB as being in a mini-series called “To Appomattox,” but when I look at the listing for the mini-series itself, all the reviews say it is fake and was never made. Strange.
Husband played Captain Winters in Band of Brothers.
Since lefty actresses demand to be called actors rather than actresses, the Oscars should eliminate the Best Actress and Best Supporting Actress awards and fold them into the Best Actor awards.
Looks like it was pancreatic cancer. It frequently hits people at around this age. It’s hard to catch early because it doesn’t cause any symptoms until it has already metastasized and then it’s too late. My mother was diagnosed at 55 and was dead at 57 after a brutal but ultimately futile battle. Patrick Swayze died of pancreatic cancer at 57 too after a 22 month battle. Steve Jobs was 56 when it got him. Michael Landon: 55; Sally Ride: 61; Luciano Pavarotti: 71; Billy Carter: 51; John Lewis: 80,
He was Cousin Itt in the original The Addams Family.
He was the Talosian in the pilot of Star Trek.
He was Twiki in Buck Rodgers in the 25th Century.

RIP.
When I saw she was in the first episodes of “Trial & Retribution,” (UK police TV show) and played Cherie Blair in “The Queen,” I knew who she was. R.I.P.
I watch it for Thomas Shelby. Knees weak.
