COLUMBUS, Ohio (WSYX) — Some people who have suffered from long COVID-19 symptoms also called "long haulers” are now finding relief after getting vaccinated. Health experts are now looking into why.
"There are people who have had COVID with persistent symptoms who have had improvement or complete resolution of their symptoms after being vaccinated,” said Dr. Joseph Gastaldo with OhioHealth.
Some COVID long haulers say vaccines are relieving their symptoms a few days after getting the vaccine. It’s now puzzling health experts.
"Physiology we don’t know why that is because I can't really wrap my mind around why that would happen. Is it due to stimulation of the immune system, we don't yet but that is something that is being reported,” said Gastaldo.
The World Health Organization estimates about 1 in 10 coronavirus patients experience persistently ill health 12 weeks after getting the virus.
"It actually has a name called PASC and that stands for Post-Acute Sequelae of Covid-19,” said Gastaldo.
Gastaldo said a third of people who have gotten the virus say they've symptoms up to nine months.

Well, if the experience contradicts the theories, then the theories must be wrong! Maybe they still have the virus lurking in parts of their bodies, and they are not actually cured. Maybe it’s something else.

I think most people have made up their mind and you can find support for either argument. This is a new twist though. If you want a different viewpoint watch Tucker tonight and he has on a Harvard Doc who thinks people who already have anti-bodies are the ones who are struggling with the vaccine. Again.... vaccine good and vaccine bad.
For the record, I had the J&J almost two weeks ago with little problems other than fatigue the day after.
We have a dear friend, who had china flu last year....and, had fully recovered....who went on to have the experimental 'vax', on his doc's advice......only to die in his sleep (last week), after his first shot.
Otherwise healthy (no meds) 70 yo, now gone.

We also had a family friend who had CV19 insisted upon getting vaccinated even though he had the immunity already!! Had the vaccine on a Friday and died very unexpectedly on Sat. the day after!! He was also 70!
Funny to me that so many Freeper’s just assume this article isn’t propaganda. It’s like you’ve slept and missed the past 6 years.

My case, had some moderate to severe "allergy induced asthma" from over a year ago. Farked up my O2 intake, etc, along with coughing up crap from my lungs. Never a fever or anything.
Kaiser x-rayed and prescribed inhalers. Temporary relief. No China virus test I knew of.
A year later and my retired RN stepmom, along with the wife kicked me in the ass to get the damn shots (73 year old decrepit).
1st shot left me achy for about 5 days. 2nd one laid me low the day after.
Now, after the 2nd shot crap has worn off, my "asthma " has tapered way off. Humidity here has also dropped (my theory), no idea what is doing what.
Ain't no psychosomatic, have to be forced to go to any health check crap.. etc.
Dr. Gastaldo doesn’t know either but that’s because, like you, he’s looking for a scientific answer instead of a political one.
