The New York theater community is banding together to save one of its own.
Broadway stars including Matthew Broderick, Chita Rivera and Jane Krakowski — along with famed theater enthusiast Hillary Clinton — are taking part in a virtual performance of “The Musical of Musicals (The Musical!)” to help rebuild the York Theatre after it experienced “devastating” damage in January from a water main break.
“I’m a big fan of live theater not only for the escape it provides, but because it feeds the human spirit and mind and it plays an essential role in our society and our democracy,” Clinton, 73, told Page Six in a statement. “After all, art is not a luxury, it is a necessity.”

Relax. It's a "necessity".
No, I don’t like much of anything about Hillary and I too hate that claim about art being a “necessity”, but the York is a great little theater that stages a good number of new works.
Hillary knows nothing of Art. She is among the barbarians that are destroying our civilization, and with it art, learning, and sanity. She can signal her virtue, but she is a dry husk in that department.

Yep they miss those people paying $200 a pop to go see a play on Broadway.
Too bad they aren’t more concerned about saving the jobs of millions of lower and middle class workers.
How much are Broadway tickets these days? I saw a few in the 80’s and even then they were astronomical.
Stars? Well, she was seeing stars when she went down beside the hildavan back in the good old campaign days. Other than that, what have the got? Chelsea?

And there’s the real story. Hillary never just does anything for others if she doesn’t have some connection to it. She no doubt owed this guy a favor.

Fine. But how about they use their own money. They are all multi millionaires. If they each pitched in a couple million the problem would be solved.
Hilly is usually the “kiss of death” for anything she gets involved in. So be it.
Has broderick done anything since Manchester by the Sea? I was surprised to see him so frumpy and small role.
I’ve seen that mural a number of times, but this is first time I noticed it’s on an antique store.
