An 82-year-old grandmother has been fined £60 for attending a seven-person lockdown-breaching 70^th birthday bash — even though every person there was fully vaccinated.

Maureen Hogg, from Eaglesham, East Renfrewshire, was given the notice for antisocial behavior after police broke up the celebration.

All seven attendees received a fine for £60, even though each one of them had both doses of the COVID-19 jab.

Ms. Hogg’s granddaughter Daisy Hogg, 17, said her grandmother questioned “why she needs to shield if she has the vaccine”.

Scotland’s current lockdown rules say gatherings of up to four people can only happen outside.

Indoor gatherings are banned even if every attendee is fully protected from COVID-19 with two doses of the vaccine. …

Sorry to disappoint, but our country is just as F****D as the UK.

I don't want to diminish the level of stupidity that exists here in the U.S., but as bad as things are here they're actually worse in many other countries. I travel the world for a living and have seen up close and personal how draconian some of these lockdowns are. I'm a pilot and considered essential personnel so I'm exempt from the travel restrictions in Europe, I've been there quite a bit during Covid.

We're not actually as F****D as the UK. The level of nanny statism there has to be seen to be believed, it would make Joe Biden, Nancy Pelosi, and AOC cry tears of joy to be able to enact half the useless laws that those poor people suffer under, they're a democrat's wet dream. The sad part is the people just shrug it off and accept it, they're brainwashed into thinking it's for the best. You can't take a piss in the UK without some bureaucrat's permission and without them charging you for the privledge.

However, I think in California, NY along with other Rat states, the measures taken to control citizens is pretty f’d up. Look at Cuomo did to those old folks in Nursing Homes.

I moved from NY to South Dakota to buy time by living in a beautiful and free state.
