Elon Musk's girlfriend Grimes has shared the incredibly detailed design and process of her vast new white ink back tattoo.
The musician, 33, real name Claire Elise Boucher, unveiled her 'beautiful alien scars' tattoo on Sunday and revealed she had shunned the traditional black or coloured ink in favour of the unusual white ink covering her whole back.

Chick reminds me of Morticia Adams.
Fugly. Tat, too.
Looks like the tat artist is Prince, returned from the dead.
Gen Xer here too. This stuff is a head scratcher to me. I’m fine with some tasteful tattoos of departed family or something meaningful, but the whole “art for art’s sake” tattoo movement leaves me with a lot of questions. I feel it’s more of the “look at me” attitude imbued with this generation.
Always have.
I noticed the beginnings of the Tattoo craze in the Mid-2000's when everyone seemed to be getting them.
Even Musk has an ugly girlfriend. Whoda thunk it?
Obviously racist since she is having them done in white ink.
Another skank defaces herself with tats.
Low body image, feeling unloved and lonely, it might attract someone, transitoriness of life, being always in touch with the world they live in...i wonder what happens if tbe ink migrates to places like the blood brain border...or gets stuck in an atherosclerotic plaque, or binds up necessary enzymes...
So when she decides she wants it removed, would they use blackout?
“The musician, 33,...”
She’s actually 33 and 1/3.
“Here’s your sign!”
It looks like a child’s art who is just learning to draw. And just scribbles all over the page with no form.
Her tattoo reminds me of a drawing of a uterus, complete with ovaries and Fallopian tubes.
I saw that!
That looks like she’s been whipped and beaten.
She looks like she is well into the upper right quadrant on the hot/crazy matrix.
Musk should beware.
Just think how much money she is gong to get when they split up and she claims he disfigured her body by making her get that stupid tattoo. Probably about $1 million per inch of ink would be my guess.
I guess they lost their etch-a-sketch.
