MINNEAPOLIS — Hundreds of boards sit inside a 1,000 foot space. “We are in the Northrup King Building in north Minneapolis and we've had this since the beginning of October,” says Leesa Kelly, with Save the Boards to Memorialize the Movement.
After George Floyd's death and the protests that followed, Kelly says, "I just was heartbroken and experiencing a lot of trauma and I needed to do something."
Kelly wanted to save the murals popping up on plywood boards posted on businesses throughout the Twin Cities, murals that captured the emotions of a community dealing with the hurt and pain of Floyd's death.
“That’s when the murals started to speak to me,” says Kelly. “It was such an emotional response when I would drive past them on the building and I just wondered what would happen once they were taken down."

Oh, good grief.
If there was ever an appropriate time to post this graphic, this would be it.
There is something very odd about this sort of combo of emotion, hero worship, and a “hate all whites” mentality.
Not sure if there’s a word for it.
Too bad Floyd didn’t do more to preserve himself.By his own decisions he became a slow motion train wreck.
Depravity is the word.
There you go. Thanks for the help!
;)
Take care,
Julie
The Smithsonian will probably give her $10K+ for one of them. Not sure about other museums. If she has photos of them before they were taken down, she can probably list some of them at Sotheby’s.
I can’t take any more of these fake sob stories and media gaslighting.
They going to have a “hooping” mural where he sticks fentanyl up his ass?
“I just was heartbroken and experiencing a lot of trauma and I needed to do something.”

Go burn down a CVS. That’s what you people usually do.
I think Candace Owen hit squarely on the most absurd part of this-that those on the Left have elevated this person, George Floyd, to some level of martyrdom.
He wasn’t Ghandi. He was a guy who threatened direct violence on a woman by pressing a handgun against her visibly pregnant abdomen as her house was robbed.
Watching the Left elevate him to the status of a saint, and watching glassy-eyed people latching onto it and running with it is like watching a mass hypnosis.
The real joke is that this woman must have no life and is as shallow as a puddle.
Not sure if there’s a word for it.

There is. Negritude. It’s an old word. Dates back to the Civil War.

“The real joke is that this woman must have no life and is as shallow as a puddle.”
She got board.
“Kelly wanted to save the murals popping up on plywood boards posted on businesses throughout the Twin Cities, murals that captured the emotions of a community dealing with the hurt and pain of Floyd’s death.”
People like this is how we end up with half wits like the current pResident and Vice pResident.
“The real joke is that this woman must have no life and is as shallow as a puddle.”
THAT IS TRUTH RIGHT THERE!
With the cost of plywood sheets running about $60 a pop, she has a nice little fortune there. Sell them now. While she can.
Kindling
Bonfire time.
