Term limits means change in Constitution.

You don't ever want to have a constitutional convention. It would be a trap.

The idea that SCOTUS is appointed for life is not in the Constitution. There is no mention of term limits. It’s more of a tradition than a law.

A President can appoint replacements for any sitting SCUTUS Judge at any time.

They just haven’t and probably won’t, Well, the GOP wouldn’t but the DNC is not opposed to using any tactic. They fight to win.

The GOP just doesn’t fight...ever

If the EO and the commission find that packing the court is a good thing, then the court will be packed and the area formerly known as the USA will be ruled by Presidential Decree (EOs) - no Constitution needed.
