That would be the blockchain that cryptocurrencies and related apps run on. It's not actually a single database. It's many many copies of it on people's and different organizations' computers making it very resilient.
There's one crypto called Algorand(ALGO) that has partnered with at least one company known to be under control of the CCP. They've also partnered with the Marshall Islands government who are creating their own national cryptocurrency. Algo has a handful of MIT PhDs on their developer team. One of them is a professor who won the Turing award for cryptography. A few more PhDs in other departments. Many team members have won awards in their fields. Team members with business experience with major corporations like Microsoft etc.
Your life WILL be on the blockchain eventually but not all of it will be for nefarious purposes. It's just new tech that works better for recording/sharing data and easily creating apps to work with that data. Learn to code.
