Even without a pandemic going on, having a 5,000-person outdoor bash in a national forest is a bad idea. However, that didn't stop Arizona partygoers in their ATVs and 4x4s over the weekend, as FOX10 reports. The Tonto National Forest was flooded with LED light bars, winches, and loud music as the equivalent of an off-road rave took over the protected land.
Forest Service authorities say any gathering over 75 people requires a permit—as you probably guessed, it seems like no permit was obtained this time around.
Making matters worse and more frustrating for authorities, there were only about 20 Forest Protection Officers present to break up the massive scene. Violations included double-riding, DUIs, reckless driving, and other offenses, but the crowd of people didn't leave in a hurry.
The next day, the group went back and cleaned up their trash....

Seldom any arrests of the usual suspects?
5,000-person outdoor bash
How many port-a-potties were there?
Off roaders and loggers. Nuff said.
From the article:
“The next day, the group went back and cleaned up their trash.”
Interesting.
no....30 years ago I would have been out there with em’.
Ahhhhh youth.
Instead of a Bash, they needed to call it a peaceful protest, then they wouldn't need a permit.
Probably no response if it had been a party of 5,000 illegals. 😕
After a year+ of the lockdowns, people are going nuts.
About one millionth of what is going down at the border
bummed I didnt get the invite.
Yep. Wanna see what liberals do? look at the pictures of Woodstock when it was over.
Tonto National Forest runs to 2.9 million acres. Lotsa room!
TONTO National Forest...I think we should be more concerned about calling a forest TONTO, which is obviously racially stereotyping, because we took it from the nature loving native Americans for white peoples recreational purposes.

Old chestnut
Lone Ranger looks to his left and see Cherokees, to his right and see Comanches and is facing some Apaches bearing down on him
“Tonto, we in a heap of trouble”
“What do you mean WE, White Man”
Ha! Great question!
exactly. If only they’d said they were all from south of the border and illegal everything would have been, “Ok. Here are maps and free water bottles and protein bars for your group of 5,000 being shipped in for you as we speak.”
Illegal? Don’t they mean “undocumented”?
Yes, well if one studied how these tribes dealt with each other one would know that Tonto was in worse trouble than the Lone Ranger. Lol.
You never know how many show up for a spontaneous gathering call. Permit? We don’t need no stinkin’ permit! BYOB
