Rapper DMX died Friday after suffering a heart attack last weekend, his family confirmed Friday.
“We are deeply saddened to announce today that our loved one, DMX, birth name of Earl Simmons, passed away at 50 years old at White Plains Hospital with his family by his side after being placed on life support for the past few days," his family said in a statement. "Earl was a warrior who fought till the very end. He loved his family with all of his heart and we cherish the times we spent with him. Earl’s music inspired countless fans across the world and his iconic legacy will live on forever. We appreciate all of the love and support during this incredibly difficult time.”

ok, As long as DMT is still ok.
it’s the new Motown /s
This guy had 15 kids! Here’s what I read about them:
“According to Rolling Out, the rapper has two children with his ex-girlfriend Yadira Borrego and one with Monique Wayne. Not much is known about his other kids. As for whether or not all of DMX’s kids know one another, he said that some do and others don’t.”
“Some of them have met others. I ain’t a total piece of sh*t. I ain’t have kids in the same county. Yeah, I slipped up. I got a few in New York; I got a few in Cali,” DMX previously said, according to Rolling Out.
What a dad!
Not that uncommon for his ‘community’ really and that’s a major cause of their problems.
I think we know what the most confusing day of the year was for him.
“And when he died, all he left us was alone.”
DMX was in some great action movies including Exit Wounds with Steven Seagal, and Romeo Must Die with Jet Li. Never listened to his music but liked watching his movies.Addiction is a horrible thing.RIP DMX
CRADLE 2 THE GRAVE was also a good DMX movie...In that film, Kelly Hu and Gabrielle Union get into a fight...
I was never a fan of his music...But, I did like watching some of his action movies...He was good in those movies...
My condolences to the family of Mr. Earl Simmons...Also known as DMX...
I was a fan of his music too. My roommate in the Army introduced me to it. Yeah, it was gangster rap but he was a heck of a story teller. Not too different than murder ballads or country ballads of bandits IMHO.
You can say that after reading the lyrics?...see post 37 and that's just one out of dozens of vile songs written by him (and other artists(?) in that entire genre'.
There is no comparison absolutely none.
I was thinking Damian.

I still like his music.
It’s not like the world lost a musician.
Awful lot of rappers OD’ing. The only unusual about this guy is that he lived to age 50, that’s unusual among the rapper crowd.
Right, and Whitney Houston was California-sober, too.
I don't know why..perhaps professionl jealousy or god knows what...but a lot them seem to also be succumbing to plumbum poisoning.😎
The guy was 50 and a drug-user, that’s all you really need to know. It’s probably true that it wasn’t an OD, just health complications brought on by 35 years of substance abuse.
How does that read to you now?
