Legendary rapper DMX, who made music about a life of trouble and crime that he also lived, passed away Friday following an April 2 drug overdose that left him in a “vegetative state.” He was 50.

Who?
What kind of parent names their kid “DMX”?
Never heard of him. But of course, I’m old
DMX, I hardly knew ye!
Guess he finally lost his mind... Up in here. Up in here.
A mom that viciously beats her boy...
According to DMX he was beaten viciously by his mother and even by her boyfriends.
DMX was seemingly happy in recent days but could child abuse be responsible for his drug use? And does beating children put them at greater risk for other issues in life?
When an addict gets clean, and then relapses, he may return to the dosage levels he was using before he got clean, and his system is not ready for that much. How we lost Gram Parsons
His life and crime was so horrible he promoted it in his raps. When I experience horrible things I encourage others to avoid them.
“OD? They said it was a heart attack originally...”
Looks like the OD part might be fake news, not sure.
I understand he had a recurring drug problem, the last I heard he was clean. One of my best friends would be clean for a year or two then end back up on drugs again. He blew his heart up.
I will wait to see what the family states about his death.
I feel compelled to ask, just what is the criteria that makes a rapper legendary? They all sound exactly the same to me. If someone were to re-release what was a hit rap six months, would the retread be detectable?
50?
Did he have time to become an icon?

Another moron who thought he was invincible. The only ones that will miss him are his drug dealers.

If DMX really died from a covid vaccine shot, that’s sad.
I.....kinda doubt it.
He now belongs to the ages......../s
Never hear of him. Meanwhile, each American now owes $491,766 in debt & liabilities, on average. For some reason, this doesn’t get reported, despite it being infinitely more important.
I thought DMX was some kind of off-road motorcycle....
I keep getting it confused with The PXG Golf clubs
In the world of hip-hop/rap, that far exceeds the average life expectancy.
