Tech is advancing at an unbelievable rate. What’s it going to be like 500 years from now granted that Democrats don’t destroy mankind by then?

I predict that things are going to become so complex, so internetworked, that the point will come that there will be a cascading failure of all technology.
Humanity will be thrown in to the stone age overnight.

Musk is brilliant, and a visionary. Whatever he is backing, invest in.

The capability to do that is already here.
And I’m not forgetting massive earthquakes.

What's it going to be like 500 years from now granted that Democrats don't destroy mankind by then? If Civilization finds a way to make living in space profitable then it will be the Wild West all over again and freedom will have another chance to blossom. With automation we are close to that point. It all depends if the RATs don't manage to send us back to the dark ages first.
I'd like to see people living off world. It all but guarantees the continuation of Civilization because space is so hostile and unforgiving. You really have to know what you are doing to live out there.

Eventually, you’ll be able to have Uncle Bob’s entire brain personality and memory downloaded. It will have his entire life memory on it. After Bob is dead, this massive amount of memory can be stored in a box, put up on the mantel and Uncle Bob lives on. He just won’t be able to walk around, but he’ll be able to talk about old times and watch TV, if you point the box right at the TV.

Forget private thoughts.
That alone will make me say no thanky.
Plus implant infection and damage that will occur from impacts to both the body area and implant debris, nope.

If it makes them play Pong with their brain, that can’t be good for them.
