With all the vaccines we have, I think it’s just a small ripple rather than another wave. But time will tell.

My guess we may reach herd immunity by Memorial Day if we continue vaccinating 3 million per day.
Oh, yeah! That would be around 80% of the population with at least one dose. :)
Well, minus 2nd doses. But it would still be about 2/3 of the population, plus any unvaccinated people who’ve already had the disease. If I’d already had the disease, I’d get vaccinated anyway to load up on more antibodies to fight incoming new variants and for a longer period of relative immunity.
Curious in how long it lasts. We're in uncharted territory here.
Natural antibodies last a year, so far.
A minimum of 200 days for the Moderna vaccine.
