Not a hate crime.

The waste of carbon could have saved countless lives and heartache of he only had the courage to kill himself before the rampage.

Imagine that, I’m having to go to a British newspaper to find out what happened in my own state.

Exactly. Whadda useless stupid POS.
The NFL is chock full of em too. IF it weren’t for “the ball”, most of those jackasses would be in prison-orange picking up trash on the sides of America’s highways and byways.

Hmm, I wonder if brain damage from football injuries is a factor here. Did he play a position that is prone to head injuries?

Did he go to the doc and blame him for something?

Ah, I just looked back at the article. It does say that he suffered multiple concussions during his football career.
This makes me lean even more towards the hypothesis that brain damage affected his behavior to the point where he became homicidal. Brain damage can totally change people.

Holy k-rap...30 minutes from here! I guess that makes us homies. About the same for me by highway, but much closer as the cros flies across the Catawba River.

Specifically he was a cornerback. Position very vulnerable to concussions.

The Fox News article said he had concussions during his pro career.
Since the kneeling business started, I’ve taken to watching English/European pro rugby a game very like football but played without helmets or padding. At the pro level they take even the chance of concussion quite seriously. The ref even doing a video replay to determine if there’s been contact to the head.
If it is suspected, the player is taken off the field for a “head-injury assessment” by a doctor. He gets no say in the matter. If he passes the HIA he can return to play after 10 minutes. If he doesn’t he sits out the game.
Deliberate hitting of the head will earn a player a ‘red card’ which results in ejection (and the team plays the rest of the game short a man).
