He wasn’t “clocked.” There’s probably a legal impediment against charging someone with a motor vehicle offense when there are no witnesses and no cop on the scene.

And there’s no real imperative to charge him when HE was the only victim and any property damage will be covered by his insurance company.

Yep. They probably base it on how far it travelled after leaving the road.

The car had a black box. It was NOT Wood’s care...it was a courtesy car. A warrant was issued but the owner probably had also given permission....the warrant was to remove any doubt as to admitting it as evidence.

They were able to determine his speed from the vehicle’s CPU so he was “clocked”. Important to keep in mind that it’s not just your phone that is spying on you but also your car.

Gee how about “reckless driving”?
Only by the grace of God did he not end up injuring or killing some innocent person.

But he’s a double oppressed minority and a wealthy celebrity so he gets a pass.

Oh, and his insurance company should stick him with the bill since he was driving at such an excess speed. They don’t have to cover damages due to illegal activity.

Wrong, wrong, wrong...

Explain your logic to the millions of California drivers who get slapped with billions in red light camera fines..every year.

No injuries, no witnesses, no imperative to charge yet pay up suckas!!!

This is typical two systems of justice.

Computer interface records the speed...

I’ve heard warranty issues are scrutinized through this interface when engines are blown early, etc...
