I just don’t really see your point.
Not many folks actually wear masks around my parts and I don’t recall going anywhere that they have demanded I wear one.

We have a few churches around here still doing parking lot services.
Not because they have to, it’s just what they are comfortable with at the moment.
If that’s what they want then they have every right to do it that way.
I can respect that.

If you dont have a thought-out, long term goal/plan behind doing this, its probably not worth it.

I’m just to the point with optional places, if they decide to stop pretending masks do anything, and they want to get back to normal services and operating conditions, I’ll come back.

Fact is they dont care if I am there or not. They’d rather be active fearporn players. I am done with it.

The Methodist church I belong to now has in-person services, but you have to make an appointment if you want to attend, then get your temperature checked as you enter, and, of course, you have to wear a mask. Once seated, you can take the mask off if you "social distance," but if you want to sing along with the hymns, you have to put your mask back on and sing behind it. Only 26 attended the in-person Palm Sunday service.

However, on Palm Sunday, I attended the service at the local Calvary Chapel. Hundreds were in attendance, there was no 'social distancing," and only a few wore masks. Although I don't like the "praise music" that they use, I liked the Bible-centered homily and the "covid woke" atmosphere.

I won’t be pushing myself any further than the ushers allow. I’ll leave before that happens. I’ll just be presenting myself and ask questions quietly.

If you have a clear face shield on eyeglasses frames, have that as backup.

I started using one; it covers eyebrows to chin, and one side of the face to the other.

So far, nobody has given me any grief; I’ve gone to Home Depot, Tractor Supply, WinCo, Walmarket, UPS Store, and PetsMart.

If anything, masks are normally only warranted for close contact inside, but if you already recovered from Covid or were fully vaxed then you should not be forced to wear one nor if spacing is followed.

But if they are required then in such a case where reasonable required obedience can be met, then we should follow "lest we should offend them:"

And by now, I believe masks are optional at the church I go to; they have online service and added back the in-person one when cases decreased last year.

And the back couple rows are reserved for folks that feel more comfortable in that setting.

I got it! To liven things up, go maskless until they all start jumping around making a spectacle and when they demand you put on a mask or leave, you finally relent and pull out a rubber devil mask and put that on!
