I have one of those scarves too, good 12’ if it’s an inch.
Twice around the neck loosely and piled up to nose/ear height keeps me toasty.
Great for our Michigan winters and keeps the mask Nazis quiet!

Indeed it is, indeed it is part of the charm. I remember soem of the sets being nothing more than drapes!
Cheeziness is what makes Star Trek TOS much more fun than any of the later series.
