Rep Matt Gaetz is expected to be indicted within the next few weeks as former Florida official and friend Joel Greenberg is believed to have turned on the congressman in the sex trafficking investigation against him, a source close to the probe tells DailyMail.com.
Greenberg, who was elected Seminole County Tax Collector in 2016, is currently in jail awaiting trial after being slapped with a string of charges last year including sex trafficking a minor between the age of 14 and 17.
Earlier this week Gaetz was revealed to be under investigation for allegedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a 17-year-old - who on Thursday was reported to be the same girl Greenberg is accused of sex trafficking, according to The New York Times.

In the federal indictment of Joel Greenburg on sex trafficking of a minor, the feds lay out a pretty detailed case about how he found girls, how he researched girls and how he provided some of these girls with phony IDs. They don't detail their entire case in the indictment obviously, but having video evidence as is described by the Sentinel piece would explain how they know some of what they know. If Gaetz is really on that video, or if it's someone else entirely, is anyone's guess.
This Greenburg character is 20-miles of bad, bad road. He's looking at more than a dozen different indictments.
Gaetz was likely framed, DOJ tried to extort him.
Time to stop believing DOJ and the criminal federal police state agencies.
Gaetz is a threat to the swamp.
I don’t know if any of this is true or not. I do find it a convenient coincidence for Hunter Biden that just as the mainstream media begins their efforts to clean up his mess this whole thing with Gaetz bursts forth to divert everyone’s attention.
I really do not know what to think here. I will hope for the best but be prepared for the worst.

With that being said, I really do not trust the sources of this story, but to their credit they are putting stuff out there that would be one helluva lawsuit if it were not true.
He is a conservative so we will find out if its true pretty quickly. Meanwhile, Hunter will continue to rake in the big bucks with nary a concern.....

If so, he’s history. I’ve noticed Trump hasn’t come to his support. Gaetz really strikes me as a rich kid who says what he needs to say to get what he wants. More a manipulator than a leader. I won’t be surprised if he turns out to be grade A weird.

Never did hear what he got as far as jail or prison time - even though he is the one that made all of the arrangements at the colleges - for large cash payments.
My guess is nothing happened to him as a condition of turning over all the evidence and (rich) people involved in the case.
He should be arrested for stupidity, thinking he wouldn't get caught.

Despite there being 435 members of the House, that list will peter out pretty quickly. Too many of the Republicans are squishy RINOs and there are no good Democrats.

If not, then someone else should.

What is the age of consent in Florida? In most states it is either 16 or 17.
