Commissioner of Baseball Robert D. Manfred, Jr. issued the following statement today regarding the 2021 All-Star Game:
"Over the last week, we have engaged in thoughtful conversations with Clubs, former and current players, the Players Association, and The Players Alliance, among others, to listen to their views. I have decided that the best way to demonstrate our values as a sport is by relocating this year’s All-Star Game and MLB Draft.
"Major League Baseball fundamentally supports voting rights for all Americans and opposes restrictions to the ballot box. In 2020, MLB became the first professional sports league to join the non-partisan Civic Alliance to help build a future in which everyone participates in shaping the United States. We proudly used our platform to encourage baseball fans and communities throughout our country to perform their civic duty and actively participate in the voting process. Fair access to voting continues to have our game’s unwavering support.
Screw Major League Baseball.

...that players have valid identification is unacceptable? Which foreign MLB players do not have a work visa? Which MLB players are underage and breaking labor laws?
...that players' contracts are validated is unacceptable?
...that players' physicians have valid identification is unacceptable?
...that players have validated stats is unacceptable?
...that those who access the MLB luxury skyboxes have valid identification is unacceptable?
...that attendees of MLB baseball games pay with a valid credit card is unacceptable?
...that attendees of MLB baseball games show a valid ticket to enter the stadium is unacceptable? Time to show up with a counterfeit ticket because MLB says it's okay.

How about votes within the players' union? Do the players need to be actual players and have an ID in order to vote in the union?
Why does MLB have umpires? Is it their job to validate balls, strikes, balks, outs, errors, etc? Get rid of them and accept the player's vote on what occurred.
What about instant replay? Why is MLB reviewing calls?
How about the MLB Board? Do they have to be valid members of the Board to vote on decisions affecting the stockholders or can they be any illegal or fake person voting?
How about the rest of MLB employees? Are they hiring individuals without valid IDs?
What about revenue? Is Major League Baseball submitting invalidated revenue reports?
Major League Baseball Commissioner Robert Manfred, Jr. is nothing but a mere HYPOCRITE.
So long MLB! Pretty easy for me to let you go...

No one is willing to speak the truth, because the media and liberals have already decided this is a racist Jim Crow law. Or as Biden said, it’s not Jim Crow, it’s Jim Eagle. Which presumably is worse if it’s Jim Eagle, which nobody ever heaed of until Biden made it up.
Baseball is not basketball. The baseball viewing demo - both tv and in-person - skews HEAVILY white and older. This is so dumb.
I know it has lost popularity in the States, but fencing is a very fine sport for all ages.
Back when football was an honorable game, Red Grange said, “There are a lot of things you can learn out on a football field. You learn how to take a good licking and not cry about it, and you learn how to hand one out and not go around bragging about it.”
Also true of fencing.
During the course of learning to fence, I accidentally learned how to learn. This enabled me to teach myself to speak, read, and write Japanese with no assistance. This, in turn, allowed me to earn many metric buttloads of money.
I call that powerful.

When players and managers vote for All Star Game players, I want the MLB to verify that the votes are coming from those players and managers with the same level of verification that the Democrats want for verification of voters in our elections for public office holders.
Manfred graduated from Cornell and then went on to Harvard Law School. Get the picture?
I haven’t watched a ball game in years. So I guess I will simply write a strongly worded post.
