Whether you like it or not, there's probably some food combination that you absolutely love and most people would think is absolutely insane. It's all good though, that's what makes you unique! And apparently, someone over at Disney wants to appeal to everyone out there who has a taste for something kind of out there, which is why they have a fried pickle corn dog that you can get at Disneyland right now.
Don't get me wrong, I love a strange food combo more than I'd shamelessly admit, so I want to let you know if this snack sounds like something you'd enjoy I'm right there with ya. The corn dog itself features a hot dog stuffed inside a pickle, which is then covered in pancake and fried. Sounds like an ideal snack for corn dog lovers that like pickles too, right? Plus, the cross-section photo posted on the Disney Parks blog is truly a sight to behold.
Well, things get a little funky because the corn dog is served with a side of peanut butter. This part I don't understand as much but hey, don't knock it 'til you try it. The mix of both crunchy and soft textures as well as the savory and sour flavors would likely be complemented by the creamy and semi-sweet taste of peanut butter. Who knows!

Yuck.
Kind of like a Chicago hot dog without the tomato slice, and with a pancake instead of a bun. The peanut butter is a little off, but then I put peanut butter on pancakes so those two match.
Where is my bunny with a pancake on its head?
He hopped off...
Yikes!
I dip Sonic tater tots in my chocolate shake...but that’s as far as I go in the “weird food combo department”.
That actually looks like it could be good.
When I read the headline I figured they just battered a pickle and fried it, which isn’t a corn dog. But the dog is in the middle. I bet it’s really good with a touch of mustard. Forget the peanut butter
That’s just...wrong.
ach du lieber! what’s next? kraut?!!!
Well, I’m never going to Disney for any reason, so I guess I’ll just have to forego this wonderful treat.
How can I download that GIF?
Looks good. Back when I was a teenager and in track, with a metabolism through the roof, I’d come home and have 2-3 Hotdogs with a pickle spear and smear of peanut butter before dinner. I was just ahead of my time.
$25?.......................
Are they trying to make people barf on their rides on purpose?
I went to Disneyworld when I was in the navy, it must not have been horribly expensive in 1980 cuz we had no money
Never liked pickles - I think they ruin a perfectly good sandwich.
Been to DW 5 times.
Here’s the drill:
Buy your DW Passes ahead of time.
GET up very early, go to Denny’s, Waffle House, etc.
Eat a huge BREAKFAST, full of carbs, i.e. pancakes, waffles, bacon sausage, eggs, grits, etc.
Be the first in line at the gates when they open the parking lot.
Show your pass and go right in.
Have your map of DW and plan of attack prepared ahead of time so you go to the most popular rides FIRST, when the lines are short.
Then, as the day progresses you can shop or go to the ‘slow’ rides or exhibits and enjoy the day. .................
We had fun while making $400 a month
