All the media screaming about 'bizarre,' which they leveled at Gaetz, now leaves them with egg all over their faces.
Seems the media's rush to judgment on the matter of Rep. Matt Gaetz, a popular conservative Florida Republican, who was smeared in the New York Times as someone in a relationship with a 17-year-old girl, might just leave them with egg all over their faces.
Again.
There's no doubt about it, the press came down hard on Gaetz, whose defense of himself on the Tucker Carlson show, following the Times hit piece, included describing an extortion plot, was broadly ridiculed as "improbable," "QAnon" and "bizarre," "bizarre," and "bizarre." Even some on the right called it "bizarre."
Sure, if he's making it up. Turns out he wasn't.

Maybe in a different era. But, in this political climate of #MeToo, I don’t think it’s possible to print the name of alleged rape victims in the newspaper anymore particularly when the alleged victim was a minor when the incident occurred.
Think back to the Kobe Bryant case. They never printed her name even after the case fell apart and her name became known on some sports forums. And as I mentioned, I don’t think any of the Epstein/Maxwell victims have been named other than the one who wrote the book.
I don’t know if you read the story I linked to, but that was about Maxwell’s own legal defense team not being allowed to know the names of the victims in the INDICTMENT. The judge said it wasn’t appropriate ‘at that time.’

People who are above reproach are far easier to smear and destroy because they have no mental or legal protections in place.

The case against him was so bad that is lawyers did not even bother to put on a defense. The jury acquitted. But e still lost is job, is business and over a million in legal bills.

It is like you should never talk to the police without a lawyer especially if you are innocent.

They have confirmed it is the same girl that Gaetz buddy Greenberg got in trouble with and is facing 22 indictments. I bet Gaetz is arrested within a week.

If all this is proved, Gaetz ruined his own life. I would bet dollars for donuts that he is arrested within a week, and that SHTF then.
