To: Tennessee Conservative

Well, there are lots of other more pleasant ways to get calcium... nuts, seeds, green leafy vegetables, legumes, yogurt, cheese.... My diet is around 90% plant based, so I’m probably good. Oh, and of course there are calcium supplements, too (be sure to take as much magnesium with them, though).

I do all of that but calcium carbonate upsets my stomach so I take calcium citrate. It’s not as strong from what I read. I do take magnesium. I’m a walking pharmacy. I take supplements for my bones and heart and supplements as COVID prevention, like 2000iu of D3 and Quercetin/Zinc. I have to spread them out over the whole day to keep my stomach from going into shock.
