I do all of that but calcium carbonate upsets my stomach so I take calcium citrate. It’s not as strong from what I read. I do take magnesium. I’m a walking pharmacy. I take supplements for my bones and heart and supplements as COVID prevention, like 2000iu of D3 and Quercetin/Zinc. I have to spread them out over the whole day to keep my stomach from going into shock.
I’m lucky (I guess). I take a couple dozen capsules total, all right after my first meal of the day, which tends to be a bowl of fresh fruit and nuts at about 1:00 p.m. Not all in one gulp, though - haha! It takes a glass of water to get them down. But I’m fortunate in that I tolerate them all just fine, though some leave a brief aftertaste. (Beats medications, of which I take none.)
