Poland chose not to take the knee before Wednesday's World Cup qualifier with England after the country's FA president described the gesture as 'the last topic that interests us'.
England players opted to take the knee just seconds before the match at Wembley kicked off, with the visiting players choosing to point to the 'Respect' UEFA badge on their shirts instead of joining in.
The move comes a day after Czech Republic players pointed at the same part of their match shirt as Wales players took the knee before Tuesday's World Cup qualifier in Cardiff.

“On your feet, or on your knees.”
I would never wear a Respect badge. I do not respect transgenders or homosexuals as a group/class ... period. So even if I was disposed of to buy merchandise for these games I simply would not do so.
Remember all those silly Polish jokes years ago? I’m primarily Polish, but would laugh at them and dish it right back. Gotta hand it to the Poles when it comes to standing up to the PC “not sees”.
One of my dearest friends is from Lublin. She and her family are extremely amazing people.
I’m seriously considering emigrating to Poland.
I thought Poland was one of the sensible countries.
What are Brits kneeling for? I know they are used to kneeling for monarchs, what’s this for? Good for Poland.
They have jumped onto the BLM bandwagon without doing any research into exactly what that “organization” actually stands for. For some reason a large segment of the British people embrace the thug culture prevalent among a certain group here.

Forget who said it, but always liked the phrase “I’d rather die on my feet than live on my knees’. I think about that when I see people submit to the woke mob.
We considered it some years ago to get out of the UK. Great place...nice people.
God bless Poland!

I don’t think the British soccer players taking the knee are thinking of BLM inspired actions in American sport, but are protesting racism in the U.K. ... and the Polish players would have been doing the same, the FIFA “respect” theme is about eliminating racist chants and other phenomena from European or even global soccer. Some European fans have taken to chants or gestures (like eating bananas) designed to send a message of disdain to black players in their leagues and international matches.
Not saying I endorse either the knee or the behavior, just pointing out what is actually going on. It’s not about the BLM protests.
