Does this idiocy excuse the land mass ruined by the solar farm in the first place?

Coal fired plants can produce 236 Gigawatts, as opposed to the California Flats solar farm producing a mere 240 Megawatts

Coal and gas powered plant need 12.21 and 12.41 acres of land per Megawatt respectively

Solar needs 43.5 acres to produce the same Megawatt.

Wind is worse at 70.64 acres

The megapack is 24ft x 5.5ft and weighs 51,000 lbs.

Expected life is 10-15 years. The ethylene glycol coolant and pumps have to be serviced every 5 years.

After 15 years the batteries have to be returned to Tesla for recycling. Nobody else in the world is capable.

And nobody has made Tesla go on the record with their recycling process and the final disposition of any leftover materials from that process.

Green energy.

Do they understand that energy must be expended to charge them in the first place?

I love how “engineers” (PR Firms for solar and wind welfare recipients) are allowed to use maximum values for their calculations. If I did that in my consulting tasks people would die and I wouldn’t even be able to get a job at the John Kerry Memorial Solar Panel Factory.

Nearly 40 million people in California.
Their battery pack only good for 7,000 homes and I bet not if you power the a/c or heater.
