"Ok, something I will NEVER understand.
When Trump fired the corrupt Comey he replaced him with the even MORE corrupt Wray, he had a chance to put someone in charge who could completely transform the FBI for the good. Instead he picked literally THE WORST person on earth for the job and LEFT HIM THERE despite obvious corruption and incompetence.
I would honestly like to hear from President Trump himself as to WHY he did this. It is incomprehensible to me and remains a dark mark on an otherwise stellar presidential record."
1–5. Biden has kept Wray as FBI Director.
Oh brother. You don’t put someone in office to commit a crime. All you need to do is identify them and fire them. I realize that is easier said than done. First, you appoint the right people, which Trump could not do - some of that was the Senate’s fault, who limited his ability as to who he could appoint. But most of the swamp is embedded in underling positions. Take the NSA as an example. I think there were over 1,000 positions who serve directly the president. Many should have been fired but weren’t. Finally, in his last year, Trump pared the staff to 500 to reduce leaks and subversive types of individuals. He learned the hard way. I could go on.
1) has a hard time finding emails in his own fbi
2) was absolutely awful on mail-in ballots, says he cannot find anyone in this country who committed voter fraud
3) did nothing in response to the FBI targeting Flynn
4) was awol, while all the cross-state trafficking of weapons and interstate movement of funds and BLM and Antifa riots were occurring
5) When it was Trump supporters rioting, he comes to life
You’re an idiot.
I think Steve Bannon said that.
Just the smirk on his face is enough for me.
Only one bullet point needed.
• Wray is the head of the FBI
Case closed
Not sure, But I heard Chris Christy made the recommendation.
Pretty sure it was Chris Christy.
Actually, the FBI director is supposed to be non partisan. That is why his term is 10 years - he’s not supposed to be a political appointee such as the Sec of Transportation. He can only be fired for cause and not because there is a change in presidents. Clinton fired Sessions, who Reagan appointed as FBI Director, I think in Clinton’s first year, but Sessions was under an ethics investigation courtesy of, guess who, William Barr before he left office at the end of Bush Sr term. So that gave Clinton cover to fire him. Clinton nominated Louis Freeh, a republican to the FBI top position and he resigned in 2001 under pressure from Congress because of foreign spying incidents. He was followed by Mueller, who served 12 years because Congress extended 2 years to his term. So, it’s not a partisan position that changes when a different president takes office.
Thanks. I couldn’t remember as to where that came from.
Was it Pence or Chris Christie.
Trump learned a lot from his first term. No. one hire loyal people only.
The Democrats profited mightily from their own wrongdoing, they handcuffed Trump in the potential range of his appointments that he might get through the Senate by alleging the bogus Russian hoax and they succeeded in winning the 2010 election with that hoax, and limited Trump's ability to fire subordinates who were not on board.
Still, some of the responsibility for these mini-tragedies must adhere to Trump.
6) Sent 15 agents to investigate a garage door pull-down rope.
I could too.
Trump was elected to MAGA, and put in place decent folks to engage that agenda.
But, there was a bigger cause, that trumps Trump's elected agenda. That was taking down the DS.
0Bama was the setup man; Hillary was to finish us off, for the DS. The plandemic was timed for this too.
Trump's role was to take these guys down for good. And, he has done alot of that, is still doing it, and he and the military will be doing a great deal more (seek out 'The Best is Yet to Come').
As others have observed, Mitch McConnell was the key obstacle to Trump. Another example: Steve Bannon was fired and left the U.S. scene for a long time. After that, the Trump tax package went sailing through...
Thanks, conservative98! Excellent summarization! That's exactly what the doctor ordered!
Regards,
Thanks, rhinohunter! That's a good one!
Regards,
Wray was Chris Christie’s lawyer who got him off over the idiotic Bridge incident. Christie was cruising for reelection and had the support of most Dem mayors in NJ as his opponent was a cretin. His staff schemed to punish one of the few holdouts, the mayor of some dump called Fort Lee which is at the end of the GW Bridge, by shutting down the bridge to one lane at rush hour, figuring the resulting mess would be blamed on the mayor - no one cares who he is and 99 percent of the commuters don’t live there. So Christie’s staff took the blame, several were indicted and their lives ruined until the Supreme Court threw out their convictions. Christie was not charged and he probably thus owed a favor to this odious Wray. Why in earth Trump felt compelled to listed to his fat mouth is beyond me.
