Reminds me of the time my brother's ex-wife decided to make rum balls. She followed the recipe, but where it said to measure the rum by the tablespoon, she measured it by the cup.

Lol, my grandmother used to make them from rum but after she discovered Tennessee Bourbon she started using that and never went back to rum. These take 1/2 a cup of Jim Beam per batch.
