A thousand dollars per month will pay perhaps a few days room and board in that artificially inflated city.

I have some doodles made while on hold on the telephone. I’m an artist. Where’s my money?

Let me guess, an “artist” is someone who sprays gang graffiti everywhere.

Hey SF, I’m so “marginalized” as an artist I can’t even afford to live there or show my work there. Contact me for my actual address and where you can send my $6000.

Considering we live in a sue happy country I’m surprised these types of racist programs and cities haven’t been sued to hell yet.

Honestly, I’d rather not get that money and then have it stop. It actually will turn out worse for people. You get used to the money and then it’s gone. A lot of people will be hurt when that unemployment stops and they have to go back to work with pay that’s less then the unemployment checks. Liberals hurt people.

During the depression the government financed public art. The art had to be approved and the work done. Giving someone who claims to be an artist $1,000 is a slush fund for those running the city.
It is a way of giving walk-around-money legally.
