Paul has advocated extricating our troops from foreign entanglements for decades. He’s been right and he’s been ignored.

Rand says Afghan leaders are drug dealers and thieves. I don’t think he’s gone that far before but it’s interesting.
If Trump ended the war in Afghanistan, then Biden would just be some old guy, playing with dolls in a basement today.
Trump reached an agreement with the Taliban to leave by May 1st.
Biden has pulled out of the agreement
By the way, even if it Congress was attempting such a thing, the President can call a press conference. The President can go on TV and say he is trying to end the war and Congress is stopping him. And name names. Make it clear exactly who is perpetuating the war. The majority of U.S. Americans, of all persuasions, think the Democrats are anti-war.
They are never forced to publicly defend their positions.
If we wait for an agreement that will actual work, this war will still be going on in 100 years. As it is, the only way we are getting out of the war is when the U.S. goes bankrupt.
Does that sound familiar? That is what happened to the U.S.S.R. when they tried this in Afghanistan.
At least he tried and there was an agreement in place.
Regardless, Rand has been calling for troops to come from Afghanistan and various other places since he got to the senate in 2010.
That’s OK, the sons and daughters are filling in the deployments. That is how long we have been there. America stopped declaring and winning wars after WWII.
