None for a while.

With Harris no longer VP, the votes will split 50/50 on confirmation and no one will be confirmed.

Only if the Republican Senators, all of them, decide they’d actually want to actually have a say in what happens to the U.S. Do you think all of them do? Frankly, I’m not optimistic.

I think the only person that could get GOP votes from the Senate is a current or respected former Senator. None of them seem to fit the bill in my opinion, bit then again I don’t respect any Democrat politician.

That’s a good point. Harris is better off serving as acting President under the 25th amendment for as long as Biden is alive. And then she can also break ties in the Senate as Vice President.

If Harris is no longer VP, whoever IS VP will still have the tie-breaker vote in the Senate. Mos likely, it will still br a demon.

But if some demon senator in a state with a Republican governor were to kick the bucket, ...

I think Mass, GA, WV have such a situation. If, a Republican were to replace Gavin Nuisance in CA, there’s 80-something year old DiFi, ...

Actually, if they keep Biden in place while the confirmation takes place, Harris casts the tie break vote.

So let’s say they announce Biden is stepping down in 60 days. That gives them all the time they need to select and confirm Harris’ choice for VP.
