My diesel car can do 800 highway miles on a full tank.I've done it twice. Once empty I can refill the tank in about 4 minutes at any one of 40,000 stations nationwide.
Why would I *possibly* want to buy an electric vehicle?????

Bragging about a particular performance is near meaningless.
Several Electric vehicles have traveled across Australia without refueling. So?
What if an electric vehicle allows you to travel 800 miles on one charge, and only costs half of what your diesel does?
Electric vehicles have earned a place in the marketplace.
Sounds like your diesel does great things.
Why stop others from experimenting with things that may work for them?
