When I first moved to Maryland we looked at a house to buy that was owned by one of Lord Calvert’s kid.
The basement was just dirt and a few bricks on the floor and the wiring was cloth coated.
As much as I love history, that was too much.
Too bad it wasn’t better restored. Would have been an interesting house to live in.
