I hate that I feel guilty for saying I love it when intellectual blacks talk about common sense, but society has made it a capital offense to refer to blacks as anything but victims.
That said, this young man has a powerful message and is blown away by the wisdom of Thomas Sowell, something that everyone, regardless of race, should hear. If you look at the facts and the history surrounding our current situation, it’s evident that we, as white people, cannot make any sort of breakthrough socioculturally without a fair contingent of black men and women standing up for themselves and their future. Everything upon which the current racist tropes rely is firmly planted in victimhood. Blacks need to want to rise above that.
There’s no word, deed, or amount of money that can help them help themselves.
Well don't, because there are many blacks that agree with you.
This black guy who I used to work with, who has sadly passed away, said to me once:
"I was talking to some of my black friends and they were complaining about white people who cross to the other side of the street when they see a group of young black men coming towards them. I told them, I can see their point, because quite frankly I am on edge when a group of young black males are coming towards me."
Now that quote is probably not verbatim, but it is in essence what he said.
