Why did he choose that particular King Soopers supermarket? Let's look at some facts.
and check out this article from the New York Post. pay careful attention to the picture of the home. In fact, let me make it easy.
Now that we have this knowledge, we can do a google search for grocery stores that are closer to the shooters home and we see that there were plenty of other targets that were closer. There was, in fact, a King Soopers that was located only 5 minutes away from him. Why drive 20 minutes away when there's a similar store 5 minutes away?
It sure does seem like he chose that target for a reason. Hmmm, I wonder what that could be:
It sure does look like this was a terrorist attack against the Jewish community carried out by a radical Islamic terrorist.
Good observation. see thejewishvoice.com/2021/03/colorado-terrorist-targeted-kosher-friendly-store-days-before-passover-but-mainstream-media-ignored-this/
Sometimes my wife thinks I’m a nut because I won’t go anywhere, including the grocery store, without carrying a concealed handgun and it’s usually a serious concealed handgun, not a mouse gun. It’s enough gun to engage a man with a rifle in CQB. Sometimes it is a PIA but there’s a reason for it. Case in point, what we’re talking about right here.
Because he wasn’t in Syria, where he belonged.
You’ve got this one mixed up with the other recent shooting.
That’s interesting.
Another guy was caught with 5 guns in an Atlanta-area grocery store today or yesterday, so I hear.
The location of the store is NOT evidence the shooter was targeting Jews.
Nothing the shooter said leading up to the shooting would indicate Jews were a target either.
Based on demographics and his profile as a reject/loner, the shooter likely chose Boulder because there's a lot of young single women living there.
I don’t doubt that it was a factor if not the main goal. I wonder if this other guy in Atlanta caught with 5 guns in a grocery store is linked or just copycat. Would be interesting to know if the Atlanta store was in a Jewish neighborhood, too.
Out West, they'll tell you that Mountains don't have trees on top.
While the majority of Colorado is about hunting, fishing and the outdoors and NOT skiing and snowboarding, I’ll go out on a limb that it has a pretty healthy gun culture. Regardless of what gun laws the Dems have been able to pass.
Boulder is radical anti-gun, liberal city. City leaders tried to pass their an “assault weapons” ban and a high cap magazine ban awhile back. And I think there was something about registration in there as well, but not positive on that.
Could it be that another reason he chose was because he was confident there would be no one toting a pistol to shoot back?
If half the citizens in and around that store were carrying guns, he certainly would not have been able to kill ten people. The same goes for pretty much every mass shooter.
You make a great point but I would also add that its mandate is to investigate federal crimes and protect United States soil. Whereas the CIA is supposed to do their work outside the US.
Why do we have armed agents for the Dept of Homeland Security? It would seem that they are or could be doing the same exact thing. Why the redundancy?
Because the US has NGOs that work with or along side the State Dept. the NGOs are filled with rich, liberal white kids who think they’re saving the world but would never allow their target audience to live near back in the US. The NGOs coach the refugee seekers on how to interview, what to say, what to wear.
I’ve seen it done in Baghdad.
The FBI needs to be eliminated from the budget.”
True. The FBI was created out of thin air and then turned the simple case of Bonnie and Clyde into a complex problem in order to cement their reputation as tough guys. Vigilantes could do a better job than the FBI.
Yes...I corrected myself.
Report: Boulder shooter swore allegiance to ISIS, targeted 'Jewish store'
Maybe he didn’t have a Costco membership......
“Besides, think about the 72 virgins waiting for him.”
What, no pics?
In addition to being eliminated, the FBI, especially its current and past leadership needs, to be brought to justice with trials, convictions and sentencing.
