Right -- for a politician to claim they are the victim of "cancel culture" is a joke. Unlike pretty much everyone else, their personal political beliefs are their jobs, and exactly what they should be judged upon.

Assuming she was being truthful when she stated her reasons for vetoing the bill, her best answer would have been that she understands that some conservatives feel as if politicians always betray them, but that she promises to sign the revised bill and ensure the law is enforced, and looks forward to being judged by conservatives when the process is complete.

Whining about voters "cancelling" a politician is just a terrible look.
