Launched from a CCP submarine no doubt.
Good thing we have secure borders and no worries about armies of sleeper jihadis waiting for the “go” signal.
So shoot them down.
Interesting article.
I figure ChiComs or this, as quoted from the article:
“To be sure, San Clemente Island and nearby training area FLETA HOT are hosts to a bevy of testing, which can include classified programs. Is it possible that the drones were operated by the military itself in an errant test of some kind?”
But I don’t know why it needs to be assumed it was an “errant” test.
We don’t have drone interceptors?
Outrageous.
Whoever is responsible for these drones needs to understand that flying around a U.S. Navy warship will result in a serious investigation with emails going right up the chain of command all the way to the Sec. of the Navy.
When the Captain was asked "Sir, should we shoot one down?" He responded, "are you crazy? What if they are being flown by persons of color or perhaps LBGTQ people. We can't take such a chance."
"A serious investigation will get to the bottom of this and there will be hell to pay."
A sophisticated Aegis-equipped ship are concerned about drones? Where is the video?
Ours or theirs?
Lots of questions and no answers re:
* Don’t many US destroyers/ships have small observation/SAR helicopters on them? If so, they could have been launched to get a close-up view of the Drones.
* Why didn’t the ships destroy one or two as a warning to those who controlled the drones to “Get out of Dodge, ASAP”?
* Did the ships try to contact the drones to see if they were capable of receiving and transmitting warning messages to stay away?
* Where and when did the drones disappear - i.e. time, direction, radar visibility, etc.?
Our Navy has been led by Obama’s “Queens Navy” commanders for too long, rending decent leaders impotent in a situation like this. It’s going to get worst under Biden and is, already.
Why did the Navy assume/conclude these *unidentified* aircraft were drones/UAVs?
Why did the pilots/operators of these aircraft have bright lights marking their position and movements?
