Then Corp got woke about May and required us to wear a half face, filered respirator to keep our customers "safe". The requirement is still enforce.
Little does Corp know that only intake air is filtered. One exhales through a flapper valve port straight forward.
Second, one has to lift up the respirator to communicate with the customer.
I love this! Well the illustration of just how stupid the people are making these decisions. They know zero about how anything works in the real world, but by gum, they are caring, concerned folks saving the rest of us.
Sorry for your suffering under their direction, though.
I figure it makes it harder to pick me out of a line up.

After Bidet was selected the Karens and Chads have spiked in mask wearing. I used to laugh but I am really sick of fidiots. We have a segment of Freepers who are Karens and Chads for various reasons and many push the “vaccine” lie and refuse to see that the experimental “vaccine” has done nothing to change anything.
Ouch! I can see how that affects running. I'm a cyclist so I have cold weather gear, rain weather gear, etc.. Snow and ice will stop me every time, relegating any cycling to the trainer (indoors.)
I just have this objection to masks while exercising. I don't find it (a) healthy or (b) helpful in any way. I see kids riding around on their bikes with masks on and think to myself "just how damn' stupid are these parents??"
I've seen people walking alone, no one around with masks on, running outdoors with masks on, driving with their windows up with a mask on (one smoking a cigarette, pulling their mask down to take a puff and then exhale with the windows up) and all kinds of mask stupidity. It just irritates the living daylights out of me.

Why should you care? If someone feels obliged to wear a mask, what’s it to you?

It’s nothing to me as long as no one insists I wear one. There is even a disclaimer on the box of masks that states they will not provide protection from covid. Seeing young healthy people wearing masks out of some media driven fear is disturbing. I guess that is part of the plan.
The vaccine pushers are doing it out of the same fear narrative the mask pushers are.
When someone tries to coerce me into doing something out of fear of the consequences, I immediately become suspicious.
If masks worked people would no longer be coming down with COVID.

I live in a large senior complex. We’re all supposedly high-risk people, but no one here has caught Covid. My friends and I get together for dinner at each others’ places, go to restaurants, and don’t wear masks except in the mail room and office, where they are “required.” My favorite 98-year-old is healthy as a horse.
My fave stupid rule was allowing saloons that served food to open, but kept regular old bars closed. What a smart virus to know the difference.

Your local store employees are doing what they are odered/paid to do.
Employees aren’t the proper target and Corporate will follow state guidelines.
I’ve made my viewpoints known to my elected reps both state and federal.
But I won’t pester a minimum waged employee who puts up with enough BS as it is.
