Alex Trebec was not an intellectual; he was a game show host, and the contestants are not intellectuals, but memorizers of facts and trivia, much of it having to do with pop culture.

These shows are taped well in advance. Alex Trebek’s last shows, which were shown in January, were taped in October, just days before he died. So it’s not as if they can remove Dr. Oz from shows he already taped.

I admire Jeopardy contestants. I hope to get 49% each night. Some of the questions are poorly written.
James Holz. was the best, by far.
Ken Jennings has a horrible voice and should not be host. Buzzy Cohen would be a good host.
