The picture of the Chevron gas station is at the northwest corner of Ceasar Chavez and Main in Los Angeles, looking towards the north.
The street view picture does show pay telephones still there.
Yeah, I was wondering if this happened to others also.
Doh! It must have been 2008 I saw those prices then. So Hussein holds the record? figures

“The only place I’ve seen a Payphone lately is at the Airport.”
They just installed one at King Sooper’s in Longmont, Co. I saw a guy taking pictures of it because he hadn’t ever seen one before.
Parked jail bus. LA County Sheriff.
Well the sign says Alameda S. so my guess is Los Angeles.

I doubt that Kevin Sorbo would even want the job, but most anyone with half a brain would likely vote for him instead of Biden if they had the chance right now. Trump had things working pretty well before he left office, then along came Biden, the Democrats managed to steal the election, now Biden has just about everything screwed up. The man needs to be horsewhipped, along with the people who engineered his election.
Gas prices are skyrocketing in America and boy oh boy is the left kicking into overdrive to try and take any blame off of Biden for it. Despite the fact that these skyrocketing prices are coinciding with his destruction of America’s oil independence, the left is still completely convinced that Biden has nothing to do with it. Sorry, but cutting off our oil independence has an impact. Not saying it’s the ONLY reason, but it has an impact, and to suggest otherwise, is partisan propaganda.
As Mr Ramsbotham points up in message 3, gasoline prices and diesel prices have an impact on food prices. Both fuels are used in the production of food (because of mechanized agriculture), transportation (trains and large trucks are largely diesel), and distribution (most people drive to the stores). But that's okay, a big tax hike will help redistribute wealth from low-margin high-volume retailers and the shoppers who work for a living, into the pockets of people who don't work for a living because food stamps are not enough to feed them.
The left knows, they're just a bunch of liars.
It’s on Cesar Chavez street in downtown L.A.
