I think it’s a shame the younger people have abandoned shopping malls, bookstores, music stores and written word fiction, science fiction and poetry.
They also are shunning genuine milk (soy,oat and almond milk-like liquids they call milk) and breakfast cereals.
They are cereal killers.
Skim milk does absolutely nothing good for cereal.
Half ‘an’ half, by far the fav. Cream is too rich and
heavy for this taster.
Books - we had a Half Price Books open a few years ago,
not far from home. Countless afternoons spent in the store.
The building was most unusual - a seafood restaurant in a Spanish galleon mold. Ladders, reading nooks and crannies for those who favored reading on site. Slightly read books of all types = cookbooks to history and biographies.

Speaking of (on site) remember when you were able to actually listen to the music before you purchased the record? Small sound booth surrounded by glass used for sound privacy. Once gone, record stores were never the same
again.
Bill may have fallen from Grace, but in his day he was a hit
on the laugh your funny bone off circuit. His record albums
are still heard, and still bring much needed enjoyment.
Cereal? How about CHOCOLATE CAKE! :-)
Yep, I don’t care, Bill is paying his price, but it doesn’t take away the hours I enjoyed listening to his early material.
I recall those being around in the 50’s but I don’t think Kellogg’s made them they tasted nasty so I popped for the beads of candy drops on a long sheet of paper only 3 cents.

I remember those too. You can still get them.
I like their Rice Krispies, Crispix and Corn Flakes. I don’t like those weird frooty flavors.
