It seems that there are less and less places where we can buy and sell firearms and ammunition. Do you have any recommendations?
You can set up ammo alerts on ammoseek for stores. Lot's of monitoring involved but I've scored some calibers to top up at regular prices. But far and few between.
I stocked up in the Obama years. Don't believe those that say the ammo shortage will ease in one or two years. It is going to get worse for many reasons. No. 1 those that didn't stock up won't make that mistake again.
Those that wait for prices to lower will end up paying more. The coming attack on guns will be vicious. Everyone will be buying way beyond what you've seen with the “new” gun owners now.
The days of going to the range for some shoot ‘em up fun are over.
Armslist
In a pinch, just hang out for awhile on 9th and D NW in DC.
Sometimes you can find local guns on Armslist. That is how I found a pawnshop in Oklahoma City that handles hundreds of guns.
www.armslist.com
Some states (mine among them) also have a private armslist/gunbroker type website only for use by residents of that state.
For safety of all concerned, if you’re selling to a stranger, agree to meet in broad daylight somewhere public and preferably monitored by security cameras. Agree that before the transaction begins you each will take a photo (with your smartphone) of the other standing next to their vehicle so their license plate is visible. Then send a text message with the photo to a friend who knows what’s going on. Then start the deal. That way the deal is less likely to turn pear-shaped because he’ll know that someone somewhere has his likeness and the license number of his car to give to police.
There is a car wash in E Ft Worth, on E Berry St.
Join mewe.com and then search for local groups. Lots of private deals going on. Some people are gouging on ammo though.
Why anyone would give a creepy deep state embed like you that information is beyond me. Here’s a tip: they’re at the bottom of a lake. Take a long walk off a short pier and you’ll find them.
The River in Arizona,,,
About “Where”??
If I may Ask.
I’m visiting Yuma alot now.
General info isn’t going
to hurt,
Is it?
I don’t think You’re DS.
And your insults are inappropriate. Maybe you should find a nice safe thread to participate in or find a nice quiet safe space to cower in.
WE ARE SUPPOSE TO BE BOYCOTTING THE TRAITORS.
I solved the holster issue when I had to get a back brace, .38 SP Air Weight Hammerless, I cross draw.
My biggest worry is home, pull hearing aids NO hearing, Not even Weather Alarm. Meniere’s meds for Perfusions destroyed my hearing. Still not over the Jan attack, Vertigo is the pits. Have to look into lighting system. Have very low hearing. NO, before it’s asked a Cochlear implant is NOT Covered by Tricare Life, I’m the Spouse. Hub would as he has Flight Deck hearing loss. It only covers service injuries. $50 for single,100,000 for bi-lateral.
Military Surplus stores, price is high,
I’ve bought and sold quite a bit on gunbroker.com since I gave up my FFL. It’s quite easy, but they do collect 4% from sales.
Gun-specific forums usually have buy/sell forums, but most limit sales posts to members with a minimum number of posts. I’ve found that shipping costs have made it not worth selling stuff much under $50, except locally.
You’re nuts. I’ve been buying and guns, ammo, and parts online since before websites were a thing. You might want to crawl out of your bunker from time to time. Or not.
Watch for a gun show nearby...
By all means everyone, give him the info. But don’t be surprised when your favorite site gets shut down.
Awesome to know. I will try cheaper than dirt. But is it me or does it seem expensive. I mean really expensive. Maybe I am reading the prices wrong. Seeing a box of ammo that’s 25 bucks and looking at it and it’s saying 70 bucks. But limit 2 boxes and I know shipping for ammo is heavy. Wondering if they arent pricing for the limit. But will look into it.
