I agree with you. I honestly don’t know where bitcoin will ultimately fall in the grand scheme of things, decades from now. But blockchain technology will definitely revolutionize transactions, currencies and means of exchange, proof of ownership, stock markets, even autonomous cars and just about everything else.

I am not into Bitcoin but I like the idea of alternative currencies—the one we have has been taken over by crazy people.

Two days ago, on March 18th, the Fed set a record a printed $271 billion in one day - all to purchase U.S. treasury bonds for Covid relief.

This is sort of why Bitcoin is popular.

I looked into one near me and the fees were 18% for the $200 I wanted to buy and it would have been a 100 mile round trip, 5-6 gallons of gas for the truck which would have made it near $50 loss.

I ended up with the coinbase crypto exchange which cost about $12 in total. Bought $200 worth of uniswap three weeks ago and another $50 a week later but converted it to a couple other tokens since then and I’m currently bouncing around between $360 and $400. Gonna let it sit at least until fall.

Coinbase pays me 6% on ALGO and although they take 25%, they also compound it daily instead of annually so I’ve made $0.34 off of hodling approx $125 worth of ALGO for a couple of weeks. With ALGO, you stake it by simply Hodling it but it’s not tied up for any time. You can sell, send or move it anytime you want. Hodling it in the Algo wallet earns you a little more but to compound it daily, you have to send yourself a $0.00 transaction every day. I’d just assume let coinbase do that instead of having to remember.

Looks like with BAT, I’ll be at $1.00 earnings in the Brave browser which is separate from BAT I have on coinbase. If you turn on Brave Rewards and allow ads in the form of native desktop notifications, you earn BAT. I’ve had Rewards turned on for a month. I even clicked on a few ads which are mainly links to articles but by an outfit that does sell products or services. Clicking is not required but the articles were of interest to me. I’ll just keep that BAT in the brave browser’s wallet and “tip” someone as appreciation for a good, informative article.

Only reason I got uniswap originally is because it’s well known and I couldn’t wrap my head around spending $250 for 0.0004 of something, bitcoin.
