The decision this week by more than 20 European countries to temporarily stop using AstraZeneca’s COVID-19 vaccine has opened a rift between vaccine safety experts, who say the cases of serious clotting and bleeding that triggered the pause are alarming and unusual, and public health officials concerned that the immunization pause on a continent in the grip of the pandemic’s third wave could take a heavy toll.

“The harm caused by depriving people of access to a vaccine will likely vastly outweigh even the worst case scenario if any link to the clotting disorders is eventually found,” University of Leeds virologist Stephen Griffin told the United Kingdom’s Science Media Centre. The European Medicines Agency (EMA) and the World Health Organization have recommended that countries continue immunizations while they investigate the reports.

 

Scientists don’t know whether the vaccine causes the syndrome, and if so, what the mechanism is. “Everyone’s scratching their heads: Is this a real signal?” says Robert Brodsky, a hematologist at Johns Hopkins University. But vaccine safety officials say they did not take the decision lightly, and that symptoms seen in at least 13 patients, all between ages 20 and 50 and previously healthy, in at least five countries are more frequent than would be expected by chance. The patients, at least seven of whom have died, suffer from widespread blood clots, low platelet counts, and internal bleeding—not typical strokes or blood clots. “It’s a very special picture” of symptoms, says Steinar Madsen, medical director of the Norwegian Medicines Agency. “Our leading hematologist said he had never seen anything quite like it.”

Regardless, the fact that Operation Warp Speed funded the development of MULTIPLE vaccines, so that the problem with this particular vaccine is not a show-stopper may well be Trump’s greatest legacy (along with several hundred other things he did).

Here’s more information from the Wall Street Journal (excerpted because of pay wall).

“The EMA’s safety committee found the vaccine to be “safe and effective in preventing Covid-19, and its benefits outweigh its risk,” said committee chair Sabine Straus. Dr. Straus said that the vaccine “likely reduces the risk of thrombotic incidents overall” since blood clots are associated with Covid-19.”

“Health officials have noted that blood clots are widespread for a variety of reasons. Clots have also been noted among people receiving other Covid-19 vaccines and can be caused by medications as common as birth-control pills.”

“Dr. Straus said a predominance of the blood clots found were among women, particularly younger women. She said it remained “premature to conclude” whether this is linked to greater risk among the groups or the makeup of the populations receiving the vaccine.”

So despite the needs of some to disparage the vaccine, the reports of blood clots are overblown. The reactions of the anti-vaxxers to every report of possible issues with the vaccines reminds me of those on MSNBC having on-screen orgasms at each report of Trump’s ‘collusion’.

I’ve read a layman’s version of what happens. The clotting basically uses up platelets needed to halt bleeding elsewhere in the body. So part is or has clotted so much that clotting agents are not available to halt bleeding elsewhere in the body. Must be hard to do surgery to address the clotting if the patient bleeds profusely with incisions.

I think all those regions were alarmed by patients’ response to that AstraZeneca lab experiment on them so they paused administration, an then our medical facists were alarmed that it would impede planned rollout here. So the US probably heckled the EU to ‘make it right’ and VOILA! All those countries reporting medical problems are ignored and now the bureaucrats are ‘right’.

Yes, I’ve been called a ‘flat-earther’ because I bothered to find out that none of the vaccines have been FDA approved, they have emergency authorization instead which means no 2 year long-term studies and no animal testing. Oh and I also found out that mRNA technology was invented in 2005 to treat AIDS and other Corona Viruses. It wasn’t FDA approved but received emergency authorization. 15 years later and it’s never successfully treated any disease, never made it past animal trials in 2005 and 2012 since all the animals died, and now after 2 months of small scale testing on people, is beign rolled out world-wide. I learned that because, you know, I’m a mindless flat-earther.

We’re just suppose to close our eyes, roll up our sleeve and trust the people who denied safe and effective treatments (HCQ and Ivermectin) to dying people because they needed to ‘prove’ that there were no safe treatments to get this Emergency Use Authorization for their experimental Covid-19 ‘vaccines’. Had they allowed HCQ and Ivermectin, they couldn’t get emergency authorization for their ‘vaccines’ (criteria required) and since the technology has never gotten FDA approval in 15 years, the Covid vaccines would never be used on the public.

Therefore, grandma’s gotta die without treatments, not even the ‘right to try’. Gotta shove Covid-19 patients into nursing homes, too. Because they need a high number of deaths, along with no other treatments available, to ‘win’ Emergency Use Authorization for the failed gene therapies relabled ‘vaccines’ in order to escape litigation.

Yes, anyone who thinks we should avoid vaccinations until we lower the infection rate during a pandemic isn’t a good source for information on vaccines. He can say he isn’t an anti-vaxxer but the things he advocates makes him one. Just like those favoring gun control claiming they don’t want to take your guns. It’s one of the oldest tricks in the books.
